Down with the boring word mats! :) How much more exciting it is to find a word inside a treasure chest? All you need to do is print the pages double sided and cut around the treasure chest (and the lid!) then fold the lid. It will make more sense when you see the resource. Print it on card paper or laminate it and it's ready to use.
